Notice of Temporary Road Closure
The Council gives notice under Sections 14 and 15 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991), being
satisfied that all traffic should be restricted or prohibited to ensure that the following
works can be undertaken in safety:
Location: Walsh Lane, Meriden – from its junction with Fillongley Road to its junction
with Eaves Green Lane.
Date(s) and time(s) when restriction will apply: from Monday 8th January 2024 at 08:00
until Wednesday 10th January 2024 at 17:00.
Reason for restriction: Duct crossing works.
Works on behalf of: Conley Utilities.
Diversion route: Signed via Fillongley Road, Lodge Green Lane and Eaves Green Lane.
Vice versa for the opposite direction.
Access will be maintained through the site for Police, Fire and Ambulance Services
responding to emergencies.
Pedestrian access to all properties within the restriction and access through the
restriction will be maintained along defined routes throughout the period of closure.
