Meriden Planning Applications

Each month, the Planning, Transport, Environment, & Climate Change Committee (PTEC) meet to discuss local planning applications. The committee then make a recommendation to the SMBC Planning Committee for consideration when they make the final decision.

Planning Considerations

The Committee consider the impact of the application to the community, referring to the Meriden Neighbourhood Plan. PTEC consider many factors such as existing site use, noise, smell and fumes, environmental features, Green Belt, Conservation Area, impact on neighbour viability, public rights of way and sustainability.
